Planting Instructions:

Location: Choose a sunny spot for your Variegated Hollywood Juniper. It thrives in full sun, so aim for at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day. It can tolerate some light shade but will show its best color and form when planted in a sunny location.
Soil: This juniper prefers well-draining soil, though it’s quite adaptable and can tolerate a range of soil types, including sandy or rocky soils. It doesn’t like to sit in soggy ground, so make sure the soil drains well to prevent root rot.
Spacing: Plant your juniper 4-6 feet apart if you’re using it as part of a hedge or screen. If planting it as a specimen tree, give it enough space to reach its full size, which may be 10-15 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide.
Planting Hole: Dig a hole that’s about twice the size of the root ball, but no deeper. Gently remove the tree from its container and tease out any tangled roots. Place the tree in the hole so that the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil. Fill in the hole with soil and lightly tamp it down.
Watering: Water the tree thoroughly after planting. For the first few months, water regularly to help the tree establish roots. Once established, Hollywood Juniper is drought-tolerant, but it’s a good idea to water during extended dry periods.
